Mini Review
A smart summary of the Raeno NEO-01
Advantages
- Retains the beloved 3.5mm audio jack
- Offers decent overall value
Disadvantages
- No 5G support
- Lacks modern 5G connectivity
- Uses an IPS LCD instead of AMOLED
The Raeno NEO-01 is all about cost-effectiveness. Costing ৳11,490, it focuses on providing the core smartphone experience efficiently.
Endurance is a huge plus. The battery easily lasts a day and a half. Paired with the charging, you spend less time tethered to a wall.
The screen gets the job done. It is an IPS LCD, meaning viewing angles are decent. It might not blow you away, but for the price bracket, it is more than acceptable.
The camera setup is adequate for casual photography. In daylight, you can get satisfactory shots. However, in low light, details become soft, which is expected in this tier.
The and combo provides a fluid user experience. Swiping through the UI feels responsive. It hits the sweet spot between battery life and performance.
The Raeno NEO-01 is a testament to Raeno's strategy. While it has some compromises, but for ৳11,490, it brings a lot to the table. We highly recommend it.
