Just weeks after the tech world settled from the CES 2026 announcements, the first credible leaks for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra have emerged. If these renders are accurate, Samsung is about to abandon the traditional smartphone frame for a futuristic, seamless look that is being dubbed as the "Infinity Glass" design.
1. The "Zero-Bezel" Revolution
The most striking change in the S26 Ultra is the complete removal of visible bezels. Unlike previous "curved" displays, the S26 Ultra uses a new Micro-Quad-Curve panel where the screen wraps slightly over all four edges, creating a truly borderless viewing experience.
- Under-Display Camera 2.0: The hole-punch is finally gone. Samsung is reportedly using a 40MP under-display sensor that is invisible to the naked eye.
- Titanium-Gold Grade 5: A new, lighter, and more durable frame material that combines aerospace-grade titanium with a scratch-resistant gold alloy.
2. Radical Camera Housing
Gone is the floating lens design of the S24 and S25. The S26 Ultra leaks show a flush-back design. The camera lenses are now tucked behind a single sheet of sapphire glass, preventing dust buildup and making the phone lay completely flat on a table.
3. Power Meets Efficiency: Snapdragon 8 Elite 2
Under the hood, the S26 Ultra will be the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (3nm Gen 2). This chip is specifically optimized for Galaxy AI 3.0, allowing for instant real-time video translation and AI-assisted multitasking.
