Mini Review
A smart summary of the Doogee S41 Plus
Advantages
- Retains the beloved 3.5mm audio jack
- Offers decent overall value
Disadvantages
- No 5G support
- Lacks modern 5G connectivity
- Uses an IPS LCD instead of AMOLED
- Display contrast could be better
The Doogee S41 Plus is all about cost-effectiveness. Priced at BDT. 20,000, it focuses on delivering the core smartphone experience reliably.
The camera setup is fair for casual photography. In good lighting, you can get some very usable shots. However, as soon as the sun goes down, details become soft, which is expected in this tier.
On the front, we are greeted by a LCD panel. While it lacks the deep blacks of OLED, the sharpness is surprisingly good. For social media, the screen does a reliable job.
As for endurance, The and combo provides a fluid user experience. Swiping through the UI feels quick. It hits the sweet spot between efficiency and power.
Battery anxiety is non-existent with the cell packed inside. It lasts impressively long. When you finally need a top-up, the brick fills it up reasonably fast.
Ultimately, the Doogee S41 Plus is a fantastic package. Despite its few shortcomings, the pros heavily outweigh the cons. At BDT. 20,000, it should be on your shortlist.
